Rolling admissionsApply 10 weeks aheadCHF 150 application fee

When to submit your application

Rolling admissions, planned early.

Helvetic Business School operates on a rolling admissions basis, which means that there is no specific enrolment period. Applicants are required to submit the completed application form as well as all academic records and applicable fees a minimum of ten weeks before the start of each term.

This ensures that applicants have enough time to complete the admission process, visa applications, and arrive in time for the start of their term.

It is important that all academic records, as well as the application fees, are received by HBS a minimum of ten weeks prior to the start of each term. To reserve a place at HBS, prospective students must submit the registration fee within 30 days.

Motivation letter

Your chance to stand out.

This is your chance to show what you have to offer and why you deserve a place at HBS. It is your chance to get noticed for your personal experiences and talents that are unique to your journey, and an opportunity to talk about what makes you stand out apart from your grades.

Letters of recommendation can come from essentially any individual who is familiar with your past performance and can vouch for your skills or personality — an employer, an instructor, or even your old high school teacher.

Enrollment, credits and arrival

Confirmation

Confirming enrollment

Students who do not require a Swiss residence permit are confirmed for enrollment when they have paid the registration fee. Students requiring a Swiss residence permit must pay at least half of the tuition and fees.

Transfer

Transfer of credits

HBS may accept transfer credits from other recognised and accredited colleges and universities. Transfer credits may only be awarded for a grade of C (76%) or higher, and all graduating students must complete at least half of their credit requirements at HBS.

Implementation

How HBS supports you

International students from countries outside the EU are required to apply for a visa and, upon arrival, a student permit. The Admissions team assists with the visa application through the Embassy of Switzerland in your country, and the administration team helps with your Swiss residence permit after arrival.

The Admissions Office at Helvetic Business School provides guidance and necessary support throughout the admission process, visa procedure, and registration upon arrival to Switzerland.

HBS Office of Admissions will consider all completed applications and contact applicants within a reasonable period of time, as soon as a decision has been made. The review process may take up to two weeks.

Applicants must complete all admission process steps, including submitting the completed application form and all the required documents.
